Frank D. Jackson

Frank D. Jackson is the Governmental Affairs Officer for Prairie View A&M University, and Mayor of the City of Prairie View. A graduate of PVAMU, he was commissioned as an ensign in the United States Navy and later served as assistant professor of Naval Science and Navigation.  A sought after speaker about Texas and PVAMU history, Jackson has authored several publications including A Brief History of The City of Prairie View,  Juneteenth – Ideas Consequences(In the Brazos River Valley), The History of the Prince Hall Masonry in Texas and Down that Road: a Pictorial History of Prairie View A&M University.
