    Bilingual Talk – Latinos On The Hill is a bilingual talk program that discusses the unique history and culture of Prairie View A&M University, Texas’ second oldest institution of higher education. The show features conversation with professors and motivational speakers who address campus activities and concerns of the community. Latinos On The Hill is produced by Prairie View A&M University.

    Amparo Navarrete

    For 37 years, Amparo Navarrete has committed herself to serving students, immigrants, women and community members across Texas and the U.S who are realizing their dreams through education. As a year-round speaker across the U.S. and a recruiter for Prairie View A&M University she is able to share her experience and dedication to excellence to a large and eager audience. She has trained grassroots leaders from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador and in the country of Colombia.

    The graduate of Prairie View A&M University is always looking for ways to better assist her community and ensure the people of Texas know what opportunities are available .

    She can be heard on her own program “Latinos on the Hill”, on Radio Amistad with Dolly Martin in her program “Temas Vitales” or on the program “Entérate” con Raúl Rivera.
