Host-Photo-Pastors-Study-Pastor-Kevin-SwannRev. Kevin Swann. Rev. Swann has a passion for God and a zeal to communicate His truths to everyone. In an era where people base truth off of personal experiences, Rev. Swann believes that Jesus is the only truth and He is the final answer on all matters.

Rev. Swann has a gift of clearly communicating the gospel in ways for people to better understand. Rev. Swann, not only preaches, but is a motivational speaker and has given presentations on college campuses, schools and for businesses throughout the United States. Some organizations that have used his services include: The Virginia State Baptist Convention, The American Cancer Society, James Madison University, Old Dominion University, Hampton University, Thomas Nelson Community College, Norfolk State University, Hampton and Newport News Public Schools and a host of churches throughout the United States and Kenya.

After graduating, from college in 1996, Rev. Swann joined Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple, in Hampton, Virginia. In June of 1997, Rev. Swann preached his initial sermon and in 2000 became the Assistant Pastor of the church. In 2003, Pastor Jerome Barber of Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple and Rev. Swann, founded Six House, Inc., a non-profit faith based community outreach ministry of Sixth Mount Zion that serves the Hampton Roads (VA) area. As the Lord continued to bless Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple, it was becoming more apparent that God was preparing Rev. Swann to become a Pastor.

On March 12, 2006, Rev. Swann became the Pastor of Ivy Baptist Church in Newport News, Virginia. From that time forward, the church has grown tremendously, both in number and in spirit. Rev. Swann firmly believes that the church (body of Christ) is the most influential creation that God has made, as it is supposed to make impact on the Earth and advance the kingdom of God.

In November of 2008, Rev. Swann founded, Kevin Swann Ministries, a non-profit organization. The mission of the Kevin Swann Ministries is to advance the kingdom of God through media, literacy and community events. Rev.
